Another quaint cafe located near Lavender Mrt, you can hear the faint waves from the Kallang river in the background.

Serves decent and affordable cappu, with pretty latte art.
Average tarts and croissants though.

Nice place to spend an afternoon, cup of coffee in one hand, book in another, basked in the occasional wave sound, and breeze..
In the shade of course..

With so many cafes mushrooming up, I'm just so spoilt for choices, yet hard-pressed for one that is not crowded.

The Plain is simple, clean cut, serves decent cappuccino and great tarts.

Seats aren't the lounge, cushy sofa type. But I like that small carved out area, great for a small group gathering /discussion.

Love the signboards at the door.
