:: Cebu – Bohol, Philippines ::

17.12.2011 – 21.12.2011

Last trip in 2011. First trip after removing my cast.
Philippines is tourist-friendly place as most people speak English.

Nothing much to do in Cebu city apart from shopping in the malls.
So we ventured out to Bohol ~ 1+hr ferry from Cebu, to enjoy the sands, sea and sun.
Life couldn’t be any better than this.

Must try this spa when you are at Bohol. Superb service with 2 masseurs attending to me.

BBQ fish with beer.. almost our staple food every night. Had to work those calories when we got home.

Sightseeing @ Bohol.

Butterfly farm

Visiting the Tarsier - the world's oldest known midget monkey, a nocturnal creature. Measures  4 - 5 inches in size and the tail is longer than the body. Its eyes are big like an owl & the head can turn almost 360 degrees effortlessly.
We didn't get to catch this sight  ;' (

Cruising along Loboc river while having buffet lunch on boat, and entertained by a local singer/guitarist

We caught a wedding ceremony at Baclayon Church :D
Very lovely

The blood compact site:
where tribes would cut their wrist and pour their blood into a cup filled with liquid and drink each other's blood as part of the tribal tradition to seal a friendship, a pact or treaty, or to validate an agreement.

You MUST NOT miss the lechon aka roasted suckling pig..
We literally pigged-out the whole day on lechon, available at foodcourts to restaurants.
Definitely calories overload.

^.^
